We are so inspired to share with you the fantastic charity work that Alison Plant from our Kings Heath Office has been doing…
Alison’s son Tommy tragically died at just eight years old, throughout his life he continued to defy all of the odds and recovered from three cardiac arrests. Tommy had a diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension suffered a fourth cardiac arrest and despite battling on to hospital he died October 2020.
Alison and family unveiled a defibrillator donated to their local community thanks to the money raised through forever Tommy’s Trust. The kit cost just under £2,000 and is now placed outside of whoops a daisy florist on Alcester Road South. Alison and family have also used the donations and various fundraisers over the year to put on a first aid course held by the paramedics who saved Tommy’s life after one of his cardiac arrests.
Alison and family will continue all of their charity work in Tommy’s name, they really would love to get a respite caravan for families like themselves that go through months in hospital or end of life.
