After a mixed start to the year Rightmove has provided information proving that rental properties are still a good investment for landlords in the West Midlands.

The average monthly rental is now £1241 which is a 4.9% year on year increase, and this is providing on average 6.7% yield.  Currently, well-presented properties priced at a realistic rental are attracting an average of 11 enquiries each. Over this year lenders have seen a 17% increase in investor loans and 28% of these are for rental home purchases. So, the news is positive, and the future does look bright!
