Introducing Oulsnam Maintenance
I expect most letting agents will admit to spending a lot of their time complaining about various contractor issues. Well…so did we! Last summer, Kerry, our Office Manager AKA ‘The Kerry Fairy’ had one of her regular brain waves of having own in house maintenance person. Several months past and in February 2015 we were recommended a good all-rounder with plenty of life experience going by the name of Mark Bradley.
Mark started with us in March and hit the ground running. He started off by doing all the jobs that weren’t completed properly by previous contractors and generally appeasing tenants. He then got on with all the new work we had planned for him. He is a great handyman and can turn his hand to most things including house clearances and gardening.
It was quickly very clear that Mark needed help with all the work we had for him so we employed Oliver Huyton in April as a Trainee Maintenance Engineer.
Since then Oulsnam Maintenance has grown from strength to strength and we have now 2 branded vans and have just employed Dean Kinahan as another Maintenance engineer. Dean’s strengths are carpentry, painting and decorating, tiling and kitchen and bathroom fitting.
By having Oulsnam Maintenance it means we can have close control over quotes and works that are happening. It also means we can get work completed quickly and efficiently as it comes in which means we can keep both our Landlords and Tenants much happier.
