 Demand amongst would-be renters for properties is rising every month. A report from Sequence released at the end of August showed that there are now seven tenants for every new rental property that comes onto the market.

The report showed that during July the demand for rental properties across the UK by eighteen per cent on an annual basis and by seven per cent against the figures for June this year. The average monthly rental price for the eastern and central regions of the UK now stands at £704 – as opposed to £786 across the south and £576 in the northern part of the country.

This makes it a propitious time for landlords looking to market their properties for rent. This is where the Lettings Department at Robert Oulsnam and Company can assist and make sure that landlords make the most of their investment. We keep a database of around 30,000 interested parties that we reach by email and provide an e-brochure for every fortnight. Our turnover of properties is often within a few days of the original listing.

Moving forward we can also arrange a bespoke rent and legal insurance scheme for landlords in case of tenants defaulting on payments and to cover any expenses that may arise during disputes and court or arbitration proceedings. We can ensure that you are protected whatever the circumstances.
