Monopoly game for the National Trust
Christmas must be coming as the National Trust has launched its very own version of the famous Monopoly game. Players can enjoy a game featuring 26 places across England, Wales and Northern Ireland all with a strong sense of heritage and history. Houses and hotels are replaced with visitor centres and holiday cottages.
Mayfair will be swopped for Lyme Park in Cheshire – best known for the BBC version of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice in which Mr Darcy emerges from the lake in a glamorous take on a wet t-shirt contest making all the women over England swoon.
Park Lane will be swopped for Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire which is a beautiful Elizabethan house.
Sir Winston Churchill’s family home is also featured.
Now who are you buying for this Christmas?
