Good News for House Sellers

After all the bad and dreary news of the last three months Andrew Oulsnam, Managing Partner of Robert Oulsnam & Company is delighted to be able to report some good news for house sellers.

After the slow start to the year with viewings and enquiries for properties well up in January and February but sales very muted the market in March has transformed, new instructions are well up and above all, sales on property are well up from the previous four months.

There has been a marked improvement across all nine of our office which cover South Birmingham and North Worcestershire. There is much more confidence in the market from amongst both buyers and sellers and we are looking forward confidently to further improvements in the market over the coming months.

Spring and sunshine always brings an improvement to the housing market and there is no exception to this this year, commented Andrew Oulsnam. General enquiries and viewings are still running at very good levels and providing asking prices are realistic, clients can be much more optimistic about the possibility of a sale of their property with particularly strong interest in properties that are coming completely fresh to the market.

The budget has produced very limited help with a scheme with will benefit a small number of first time buyers and help for institutional style commercial landlords.

If you are interested in buying for selling, contact your local Oulsnam office or email us on sales@oulsnam.net.
