Barnt Green is a semi-rural village, just south of Birmingham, on the northern tip of Worecstershire county. It is surrounded by gorgeous countryside in the form of the Lickey Hills as well as the Cofton Hackett and Bittell Reservoirs.
The origins of Barnt Green lie in the development of the West Midlands railway network, and so many of the houses available are from the Victorian era, in the Arts and Crafts style. There are exceptionally easy transport links in Barnt Green, as the village has a train station on both the Cross-City (Redditch to Lichfield) and the Bromsgrove (Birmingham to Worcester) lines. Barnt Green is popular with commuters working across the Midlands who benefit from the nearby M5 and M42 motorways heading north-south and eastwards towards the M40.
