Sajid Javid Encourages People to Shop Locally in Bromsgrove
Tue 10 Nov 2020

With the UK currently in it’s second lockdown of 2020, this is proving to be an extremely tough time for small independent business, especially in Bromsgrove. Due to the impact the first lockdown had on these companies, many fear for the future after the second. With this in mind, there has never been a more vital time to support your local Bromsgrove businesses, and with Christmas around the corner, there couldn’t be a better time.
Although the current lockdown restrictions mean that shops cannot open, many innovative shop owners have taken their businesses online in order to stay afloat.
A short while ago, the Advertiser launched the Love Local Business campaign in order to encourage local Bromsgrove people to spend their money locally this Christmas. The idea behind the campaign was to help business struggling to combat the impact of Covid-19 on the economy.
Bromsgrove is full of smart, talented and overall determined individuals, so the campaign’s aim is to showcase these individuals and give them a boost in a tough time.
MP for Bromsgrove, Sajid Javid has recently shown support for the campaign saying “I am delighted to be supporting the Love Local campaign in Bromsgrove District. This has been a challenging period for many businesses and traders, with the continued support of local residents now more important than ever. In the run up to Christmas, I’m urging people to shop local and back independent businesses in the area”.
