Rubery Shares in the West Midlands Property Market Success
With continuing positivity in the West Midlands property market, we’re excited to see that all of the regions our 11 sales offices sell homes in are performing well. We know that as a region as a whole, properties are selling quicker and for more money than elsewhere in the UK. So, we thought we’d take a closer look at some of our sales office locations.
Rubery is a great place to buy property. With awesome transport links to the centre of Birmingham as well as Worcestershire to the south, property prices have been steadily on the up over the last few years.
There is a wide range of property types for sale in Rubery. These range from terraces to semi-detached houses to more substantial detached homes. The most popular type of property in terms of sales last year was in fact semi-detached houses, with an average price of £185,699. The price for the larger, detached homes significantly ramped up at £296,895*.
If you take into account the affordably priced terraced houses for sale in Rubery, you’re left with an average area house price of £173, 199. This is up 8% on 2016 house prices, and it remains, currently, very similar to last year, according to Rightmove data.
So, our Oulsnam Rubery sales office is quite convinced that the remainder of 2019 will continue to see rising house prices, in line with the rest of the regional trends. Therefore, it might be a good idea to invest now, if you’re looking to put down roots in the area!
