We are delighted to have brought in a fantastic new Lettings Manager for our lettings and property management team, based in Barnt Green.
Michelle Mullins joined the company in May 2019 to take over from Laura Fiddes-Baron, who left to pursue a travelling career break.
Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked for Trinity Property in Dudley since 2005. She has worked in all areas of lettings including negotiation, property management, and accounts. Having previously helped manage in the region of 400 properties, we know she will be kept super busy with us!
We asked her to tell us a little more about herself, and her branch manager role.
What is your favourite thing about working in the property industry?
It is so varied in lettings, no two days are the same, each presents a different challenge.
Where do you think is a great area to rent a house in?
Bearwood is an up and coming area on the outskirts of Birmingham. The commute into the city centre for work or entertainment is so easy. There are plenty of places to relax, eat and drink. There is a large selection of properties with period features.
What key benefit does your job role do for Oulsnam clients?
I hope to offer my experience gained over the last number years to assist the Oulsnam clients. This means managing a large team of people with a varied skillset covering property mangement, viewings, and negotiation. It's my responsibility to ensure the journey to renting a house runs smoothly, as does the ongoing tenancy once it's been let.
What is your main hobby outside of work?
I enjoy keeping fit and regularly attend the gym. I love Cumbria and have enjoyed many a walk up there.
What and where is your dream house?
My dream house would be in a small village with a good pub on the outskirts of Keswick, in the Lake District.
If you could invite three people (dead or alive) to dinner, who would they be and why?
1) Charles Darwin - His theories were revolutionary for his time;
2) Queen Elizabeth I – A formidable woman;
3) Emmeline Pankhurst – A strong woman with stronger beliefs.
