Barnt Green nursery raises almost £1000 for Children In Need

Sandhills Day Nursery in Barnt Green helped to raise nearly £1000 for Children In Need this November. Both staff and children decided to show their support for the charity by dressing in brightly coloured clothing and creating a ‘colourful day’.
During the fundraising, the children also took part in a rather impressive colouring competition, along with celebrating the occasion with a party. In total, £986,50 was raised by everyone involved, which is a great achievement and will benefit the charity hugely.
The manager of the nursery, which is part of The Old Station Nursery Group, has said “Children in need is important to us because we see how much our children thrive at our setting and we want all children to have the same opportunities.”
