Why Bromsgrove is a Festival Trend Setter
The suburbs of Birmingham have long been known for their independent and alternative vibes. Moseley and Kings Heath host regular music festivals with Bearwood following suit! However, this July, Bromsgove is hosting its 28th Folk Festival at The Bowling Green on Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior. So, perhaps it was Bromsgrove setting the trend after all?!
From the 11th to 14th July, you will be able to hear music from artists such as Richard Dignance, Churchfitters, The Bad Pennies, Jez Lowe and many more.
You can get your tickets here
As well as music there will also be a plethora of entertainment on offer including ukulele lessons, dance demonstrations, walks, story telling and dry foam flinging! I don't know what dry foam flinging is, but apparently it's the world championships, so count me in!
Events such as this are testament to the fact that the suburbs of Birmingham really do offer a community vibe. With house prices continually rising and homes being snapped up in super record time, maybe you should be considering a move to Bromsgrove?!
