Northern big city living in Manchester

Manchester has gained a reputation as being one of the most stylish
cities in the UK, and provides an excellent alternative to London
for those who want to base themselves in the north of the
country.
It is well-known for its indie rock music scene through the success
of bands like Oasis, while its rich sporting history is highlighted
by Manchester United and Manchester City, along with Lancashire

nightlife, which can be experienced in different areas of the
centre, such as the Northern Quarter. The stamp of the Madchester
scene of the 1980s can still be seen in some bars, while there is
also a popular gay village with Canal Street among the
destinations.
