Robert M Oulsnam, FRICS

Mr Robert Oulsnam founded the company on 1st January 1971 and remains the Senior Partner. He is still involved in the day to day running of the company although he does not get involved personally in the sale of homes, he oversees the Block Management Department. His driving passion is still to see a successful company adhering to the highest standards.

Andrew C M Oulsnam MRICS - Chartered Surveyor & Partner

Andrew C M Oulsnam MRICS

Andrew is the son of the founder of the company Robert Oulsnam and is the Managing Partner. He is responsible for the overall running of the company as well as valuing homes for the Barnt Green office and assisting in their sale. He has over 40 years experience in the property industry. Outside the company he is a keen sailor and plays squash regularly.

Edward J M Oulsnam BSc (Hons) - Graphics and Marketing

Edward J M Oulsnam BSc (Hons)

Ed is currently re-designing and standardising all our marketing material including creating new promotional literature having gained a degree in Product Design in 2006.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling having travelled extensively throughout Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia to name but a few. Closer to home he enjoys music, walking, swimming and is an experienced dinghy sailor and scuba diver.

Claire Brackpool - Branch Manager

Claire Brackpool

Claire joined Robert Oulsnam & Company in 2001 as part of the Northfield sales team, after moving back to the Midlands from London where she gained 2 years experience as a sales negotiator in a family run Estate Agency. She worked at the Northfield office overseeing the BVT Portfolio until June 2008, when she then joined the Lettings Department based at the Barnt Green office, dealing with tenancy applications and liaising between landlords and prospective tenants. Claire moved to the Barnt Green sales office in January 2009 and has successfully agreed many sales for the office. She is now valuing properties as well as dealing with the day to day running of the office.

In her spare time Claire enjoys going to the cinema, theatre, live music, cooking and spending time on the family canal boat.

Claire-Louise Lucas - Sales Negotiator

Claire-Louise Lucas

Our newest recruit, Claire joined the team in 2010 having previously worked for a Birmingham based firm of solicitors as a legal accounts assistant. She is driven by excellent customer service and has a wide knowledge of the local area. Claire is here to oversee all aspects of your sale, from marketing to completion.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys shopping and dining out with family and friends.

Jenna Rushton - Branch Manager

Jenna Rushton

Jenna has recently joined the office as Branch Manager and brings to the role extensive knowledge and experience of Bearwood and surrounding area's. She is ambitious and keen to expand the office whilst raising its profile within the local area. She has many years experience in customer service, that coupled with her communications degree makes her an impressive negotiator, dedicated to achieving the best for our clients.

In her spare time she undertakes voluntary work with young people and enjoys dining out and spending time with family and friends.

Becky Smith - Sales Negotiator

Becky Smith

Becky has been with the company for 11 years, undertaking many roles during this time. Her current status as full time negotiator utilises her people skills; customers are naturally drawn to her wit and friendly conduct, being a key contributor to the success of the Bearwood branch. In her spare time she is one quarter of an alternative comedy act, providing top entertainment for both private and executive functions.

Andrew Curtis - Lettings Negotiator

Andrew Curtis

Having several years experience in management roles Andrew joined Robert Oulsnam & Co in 2011.

Bought into manage the lettings side of the business Andrew is responsible for the continual growth of rental properties in Bearwood and surrounding areas.

In his spare time his interests are music, socializing and football.

Peter Johnson - Sales Negotiator

Peter Johnson

Peter is new addition to our Bearwood office, working as a full time Sales Negotiator. He brings to the role extensive sales and negotiation experience gained from running his own foreign property business for many years. He strives to give first class customer service at all times.

In his spare time Peter enjoys playing golf, socialising and spending time with his family.

Su Sedgwick - Housing Manager

Su Sedgwick

Su moved to property management 6 years ago after a successful 25 year career in banking and finance. She has been instrumental in effecting continuous improvements in systems and procedures and is presently studying for her Associateship of the Residential Property Managers. Always a “people” person she enjoys dealing with the variety of clients under management and the opportunity to be involved in the provision of quality housing for older people.

Clare Mudie - Mr Robert Oulsnam’s Secretary

Clare Mudie

Clare Mudie joined Robert Oulsnam and Company in 2005, having gained experience in property management whilst working in the estates department of a national children’s charity. She also brought with her a wealth of experience dealing with people from all walks of life having worked for many years in the National Health Service and private industry.

In her spare time she enjoys driving her two vintage Austin 7 motor cars.

Sally Jackson - Accounts Assistant

Sally Jackson

Sally is the most recent addition to the Block Management team. After previously having careers in administration and banking, she joins the team as an Accounts Assistant. Sally is very customer focused, friendly and very much a people person.
Outside of work, she confesses to spending as much as time as she can with her two young children.

Gary Hitchman - Branch Manager

Gary Hitchman

Gary’s initial seven years estate agency experience was with a corporate estate agent in Birmingham, however, as he lives in Bromsgrove and was committed to the philosophy of independent estate agency he jumped, when the opportunity presented itself, at becoming Branch Manager at his local Robert Oulsnam & Company in April 2005.

Gary involves himself with every aspect of the running of the office. He is the primary valuer and, once your sale is agreed, he will monitor progress with solicitors and other agents, dedicated to doing all he can to ensure your move is as smooth possible.

Living in Bromsgrove, means Gary has unrivalled local knowledge about the specifics of the local area and its ability to meet the needs of the modern young family. During his spare time, he will often be spotted walking his dogs through the local countryside and on Sundays, he watches his son who plays rugby for Bromsgrove under 13s.

Jane Whitehouse - Assistant Manager

Jane Whitehouse

South african born Jane has a wealth of experience in negotiating house sales and valuing a like, both from working in Bromsgrove and internationally from when she sold homes overseas.

Being driven to exceed your expectations and will do everything in her power to help you move home successfully, incoporating her innovative ideas. Living in Bromsgrove gives Jane an excellent and varied local knowledge that is unrivalled.

She enjoys horse riding and swimming during her leisure time.

Shelbi Scoffin - Sales Negotiator

Shelbi is based at our Bromsgrove office, working as a Sales Negotiator. She has worked in sales for several years and strives to give first class customer service at all times.

Shelbi enjoys socialising with her friends and family, and is looking forward to progressing within Robert Oulsnam & Company.

Mikaela Husbands - Administrator/Sales Negotiator

Mikaela Husbands

Mikaela is the newish member of staff at the Bromsgrove office and looks forward to progressing with Oulsnam. Living in Bromsgrove all her life, means Mikaela has great local knowledge of Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas. She comes to us with a proven record of customer service, has excellent organisational skills and is very motivated to succeed in all challenges that may come her way.
During her spare time, she enjoys hitting the slopes of the French Alps. Closer to home, she likes spending time with family and friends. On Saturdays she can be found at the Bromsgrove Rugby Club watching family members play for the 4th team.

Dan Sullivan - Branch Manager

Dan Sullivan

Dan has many years experience in estate agency, and has now been promoted to run our new Droitwich office having spent the last five years at our Bromsgrove Branch.

He always believes in a positive approach to life, being extremely conscientious, calm and methodical in his manner resulting in an excellent track record in negotiating sales and valuing alike.

Outside of work Dan likes to keep fit and regularly plays five-a-side football and enjoys his trips snowboarding as well as many other foreign escapades.

Karen Treadwell-Hands - Sales Negotiator

Karen has recently re-joined Oulsnam's having worked for us nearly some 20 plus years ago! She will be joining Dan at our Droitwich office as the main sales negotiator and living in nearby Sambourne has a wide knowledge of the local area. Karen prides herself in her listening skills and customer service. Away from the office Karen enjoys socialising, eating out and enjoys following country pursuits.

With 6 years of Estate Agency experience and knowledge, Kate takes thrives on new challenges and takes pride in the work that she does showing her excellent customer service skills at all times.

Lynda Williams - Branch Manager

Lynda Williams

Lynda Williams has been with the company since 1997 and is our branch manager at Kings Heath. She is very tenacious, positive and pro-active and as well as running the office provides knowledgeable marketing advice to clients, negotiates sales and manages her team. She is extremely popular with clients and is very proud of the Kings Heath office and its great success over recent years

Judi Waters has been with the company for five years and has an extensive background in property management. Judi is our lister and senior sales negotiator. Our clients are always extremely impressed with her ability to present their homes in the best possible light with her fantastic photos and great attention to detail. Her knowledgeable advice and invaluable experience ensures great customer satisfaction.

Michelle has recently joined the expanding Kings Heath Office after a number of successful years at our Northfield Office. Michelle is a hard working, enthusiastic sales negotiator and popular team player. She is an ambitious estate agent and fully committed to providing clients with the very best of service.

Kerry Parker (MARLA) - Branch Manager

Kerry Parker (MARLA)

Kerry joined Robert Oulsnam and Company in 2002 and has successfully run the lettings department for the past 7 years. Previously Kerry worked as a mortgage underwriting manager for 15 years and is CeMAP qualified and gained her gold institute of customer care award.

In her spare time Kerry plays squash for her local team and can also be seen walking with her dog who she adores.

Carly Nicholls (MARLA) - Assistant Manager and Lettings Property Manager

Carly Nicholls (MARLA)

Carly joined Robert Oulsnam and Company in 2007 having previously worked in the leisure and debt collected industries for several years. She has successfully taken on the role with much vigour.

In her spare time she is a keen fitness fanatic and plays and trains for roller derby.

Darren Barber (MARLA) - Lettings Valuer and Property Manager

Darren Barber (MARLA)

Darren joined Robert Oulsnam and Company in 2005 as the lettings valuer. He previously worked in the motor industry as a sales manager for 12 years but decided to have a career change and has been successful in the growth of the lettings department.

Married and a father to five children, when Darren actually has spare time, he has a keen interest in computer and film.

Ed Chute - Lettings Vauler and Property Manager

Ed has been with the company since 2007 and he previously worked as a manager within carpet retail. He is presently studying to become a chartered surveyor at Birmingham University.

In his spare time he has an interest in music and plays guitar and is a keen football supporter.

Jackie Williams - Lettings Negotiator

Jackie rejoined us in 2003 and is our lettings negotiator at Barnt Green. Her hectic family live (five children, three dogs, a horse to name but a few!!) ensures she is constantly on the go but does find time to go horse riding, swimming and walking. From January 2009, Jackie has moved to the Lettings Department based at Barnt Green and will dealing with tenancy applications and liaising between landlords and prospective tenants.

Luke Martin - Lettings Negotiator

Luke is a hard working and motivated individual who is a real people person. He enjoys going out with friends and family and loves to go abroad on holidays.

Laura Robinson - Lettings Negotiator/Property Manager

Laura Robinson

Laura has now been promoted to Lettings Negotiator/Property Manager after completing her business and administration apprenticeship.

In her spare time Laura loves socialising and visiting new places. She is looking forward to progressing her career within the company over the next few years.

Julie Christie - Lettings Assistant Accountant

Julie Christie

Julie previous worked for Rover for 27 years in the accounts department and joined us in 2008.

Julie loves the countryside and wildlife and has 2 dogs which she adores.

Sue Perkins - Lettings Assistant Accountant

Sue Perkins

Sue joined the company in 2006 and she has previously worked as an accountant for a group of insurance companies. She left the company to have her second child and joined Robert Oulsnam and Company on a part time basis.

Sue enjoys swimming and keeping fit.

Dave Warner - Viewing Representative

Dave Warner

Dave joined the company approx 3 years ago after leaving his previous career in the insurance industry. Dave is married with 2 children and lives locally in the area. His main interest include sport in general but football in particular. Dave gains great enjoyment and satisfaction in showing prospective tenant around the rental properties in order to aid them find a suitable property.

James Brain - Branch Manager

James Brain

James Brain who has been with the Company for more than 12 years and who has been in Estate Agency for nearly 20 years. James has an in depth knowledge of property values in the Moseley area and you should not offer your property for sale in Moseley without seeking his advice. Outside of the office James enjoys travel and has a keen interest in the theatre.

Freda Kendall - Office Manager

Freda Kendall

Freda has been with the Company since 1988 initially running the office in Woodbridge Road before moving to more prestigious premises on Alcester Road in 2004.

She has extensive local knowledge of the area and is dedicated to ensuring that her experience and attention to customer service far exceed her client’s expectations.

Outside of work she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Allan G Williams

Allan has recently moved over to Moseley as a valuer/negotiator alongside James and Freda having been at our Rubery office for the last six years. In his personal life Allan enjoys spending time at home with his wife and baby son who was born last year.

Peter has been our viewing representative for over 7 years and confidently accompanies prospective buyers around our properties for sale. When not showing houses Peter enjoys walking and golf.

Ian Williams has been in the property industry for all of his working life amounting to over 30 years. He joined Robert Oulsnam & Company approximately 25 years ago and was made a Partner shortly afterwards. Ian is based at Northfield Office and whilst he has many other responsibilities within the Company including supervision of various Offices and Departments, he is active in the valuing and sale of homes in various areas including the Northfield Office catchment area to include the Bournville Village Trust Estate and Kings Norton.

Alison is Manager of our highly successful Northfield Office impressively combining management of our Sales Team of 11 with management of clients’ files and provision of marketing advice to prospective clients in the locality. Alison has a wealth of experience in the industry having joined Robert Oulsnam & Company some 20 years ago progressing speedily to Office Manager, a position she has now enjoyed for many years. Alison is dedicated to ensuring that clients of Northfield Office receive the best possible attention and that Northfield Office remains the areas leading Estate Agency Office.

Gary R Kendall FNAEA - Sales Manager & Valuer

Gary is Sales Manager and Valuer for our highly successful Northfield Office having over 16 years experience in the industry. Gary began his career with Robert Oulsnam & Company at Northfield Office, gained further experience managing both corporate and independent Estate Agencies in Selly Oak and Kings Norton before returning to our Company a few years ago. Gary and his family have been resident in West Heath/Northfield for 22 years and Gary has a broad range of experience in properties within the catchment area of Northfield Office to include Northfield, West Heath, Longbridge, Kings Norton and the Bournville Village Trust Estate.

Ann has now been with Robert Oulsnam & Company for around 12 years having joined the Company in 1996. All of Ann’s time at the Company has been spent at Northfield Office as a Sales Negotiator and her wide range of experience includes the tough markets of the mid 1990’s together with the boom markets of 1999 to 2004.

Ann is very well thought of by her colleagues and clients alike and has played a large part in the success and growth of Northfield Office in recent years.

Natalie Richards - Sales Negotiator

Natalie Richards

Natalie joined Robert Oulsnam and Company at the beginning of 2010 and has settled in extremely well. Natalie is an experienced sales negotiator having gained previous experience with a large corporate estate agent. Natalie lives locally and has an excellent knowledge of the surrounding areas and a real flare for sales.

Natalie is local to the area and in her spare time enjoys eating out, going to the cinema, and catching up with family and friends. She is also a keen member of a gym and enjoys a number of classes including yoga.

Rachel Andrews - Sales Negotiator

Rachel Andrews

Rachel joined the sales team recently having been an Independent Financial Adviser for the last 20 years. Rachel has also worked in a major Building Society and has a very keen interest in the property market.

Rachel lives in Bournville and has considerable knowledge of the local area which we feel sure will add to the strength of our Northfield sales team.

Sue joined Robert Oulsnam & Company approximately 10 years ago, initially administrating for our Moseley Office but in recent years for Northfield Office.

Sue is a first class Administrator and an extremely important member of the Northfield Sales Team.

Sue and her family live locally close to the heart of Bournville.

Graham Frisby

Graham accompanies prospective purchasers over properties and has been with the Company since the summer of 2005.

Graham and his family live locally and he has a thorough knowledge of the locality.

Victoria Green - Banch Manager

Victoria Green

Victoria is the Manager of our Redditch Office and has previously worked for many years for a large corporate group, covering the areas Worcester and Evesham.

She thrives on the challenges that each day brings, and gets huge satisfaction from exceeding her client’s expectations on the outstanding service that she and her team provide. Victoria has no doubt that with the enthusiasm and motivation that the Redditch team have; they will be extremely successful.

Victoria studied Law at University and worked in a local solicitors in Worcestershire before deciding to make her career in Estate Agency. In her spare time, she enjoys to travel abroad, regularly visiting her family’s property in Cyprus and socialise with family and friends as much as possible.

Eileen, having worked in the estate agency business for the last eight years, with Oulsnams for the last five, and through her dedicated hard work is now senior sales negotiator/valuer. Eileen has proved to be successful in her role as valuer. Her charm and charisma appeals to clients and vendors alike, and is always ready to listen.

Debbie has been with the sales team for several years and brought with her a wealth of experience from retail sales and customer service. Debbie is a keen sales negotiator with a friendly approachable nature, and is a patient progress chaser using her customer skills to full potential when dealing with problems which arise between vendor and purchaser.

Sally Ann has been with the company now for 9 years but has worked in agency for around 20 years. She has gained a wealth of knowledge over the years, especially in the South Birmingham Area. In her private life Sally Ann enjoys travelling around the British Isles judging and showing Dalmatians.

Lisa has worked for Robert Oulsnam & Company for 8 years having been the branch Sales Negotiator for 6 years. Working closely with her branch manager, Sally-Ann, the company has seen Lisa go from strength to strength, enjoying and being very much a part of the offices ongoing success. Lisa is very much customer focused offering a friendly, professional service.

Outside of work Lisa is a keen reader, enjoys live music, cycling and mostly spending her spare time with partner and son.

Ian qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and has been actively involved in surveys and valuations ever since

Ian A Williams MRICS - Chartered Surveyor

Ian A Williams MRICS

Ian is the Partner overseeing the Survey Department which is based at our Office in Church Road, Northfield.

Ian qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1983 and has been actively involved in surveys and valuations of all kinds ever since.

Julie Kendall

Julie Kendall

Julie is responsible for the day to day management of the Survey Department and is an extremely valuable member of the Department. Julie initially joined the Company in 1987 and has a wide range of experience in the property industry at various offices dealing earlier in her career with property sales but more recently the Survey Department.

Sue Mills - Domestic Energy Assessor

Sue Mills

Sue initially worked in estate agency in Liverpool in the early 90’s and joined Robert Oulsnam and Company when she moved to Studley in 1995.

During her time with the company Sue has worked at various offices and in several different roles, giving her comprehensive experience in all aspects of Estate Agency. Through 6 years now at Bromsgrove she has built up extensive local knowledge of this area. Sue has a bubbly and enthusiastic manner and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

Sue enjoys walking, especially with her cocker spaniel, and travel, often taking trips to incorporate watching the England football team.

Sue has recently completed the Domestic Energy Assessment course and is now a qualfied Domestic Energy Assessor.
