Robert Oulsnam and Company are the sole Managing Agents for the Michael Blanning Trust Housing Association who provide high quality homes for retired people.
There are three developments in Dorridge, Moseley and Balsall Common. All of the homes offer comfort, independence and security for people over 58 years of age. Each development is situated in beautiful landscaped grounds with easy access to local amenities and public transport.
The unfurnished apartments vary in size from one to two bedrooms and all have private entrance with door entry security system. Most have fully fitted kitchen with appliances. There is a communal lounge and kitchen area for use by residents along with laundry facilities.
There is a part time warden at each development who will act as a ‘good neighbour when needed to help with shopping, arranging appointments etc., but we are unable to offer any nursing care. Also there are emergency pull cords throughout the apartments that provide 24 hour cover linked to a central control.
Each development also has a strong social focus and sense of community with the residents arranging coffee mornings, meals out, musical evenings, visits to local places of interest and theatre trips.
These properties are provided by the Michael Blanning Trust Housing Association whose purpose is to provide good quality accommodation for the elderly at a reasonable rent and in some cases hot water and heating is included. The tenants’ ability to pay is not taken into account and Housing Benefit may be available for eligible residents
The three developments are Blanning Court in Dorridge, Bromford Park House and Michael Blanning House in Moseley, Michael Blanning Place in Balsall Common.
